Go to DollarTree.com, then navigate to Party Supplies/Wedding Ideas. You’ll arrive on a page full project plans. If you see something you like, you can download free instructions that include a supply list, step-by-step directions, and any templates you need.

Many of these projects can be easily adapted for use in senior living communities and coordinating them to your dining room is as easy as choosing the color of materials you need. For instance, here’s the same bird project pictured above in white with a taller pedestal:
